Angie Cameron

Angie has worked in the counselling and psychotherapy field since 1994 and is a passionate and professional counsellor and psychotherapist. She has expertise in

  • fertility
  • anxiety
  • stress
  • relationships
  • intimacy
  • pregnancy
  • baby loss
  • sexuality

Her specialist interest in both natural fertility conceptions and reproductive methods, has given her extensive experience working with both individuals and couples.

Using her personal and professional experience Angie is able to help people achieve successful pregnancies. She has also been involved in very successful fertility programmes with her professional colleagues in which 80% of the group became pregnant.

Angie herself has experienced different forms of assisted reproduction, baby loss and successful pregnancies. Angie is a mummy to her 4 children and she believes the fertility knowledge and support she has gained when trying to start a family of her own can be especially helpful for others.

As well as supervising other health professionals, Angie is a trainer, facilitator and workplace mediator. She is also a Humanistic Existentialist therapist.

Angie is also involved in a number of charities such as:

SIMBA , SANDS Lothian  and the Scottish Cot Death Trust

Angie has also worked at the Postnatal Depression Project in Edinburgh as a therapist and now has her own private business ‘ which started in 2001 through her passion for therapy. At direction and as a professional Angie is committed to and takes pride in developing and delivering sustainable ethical and quality services. direction has also been awarded the Recognition Scheme for Counselling & Psychotherapy for its highest standards of professional practice for 5 years in a row. Angie is an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and UKCP.
